Civil Supplies Corporation donates 51 lakh for Kinnaur, 11 lakh for Uttrakhand

H.P. State Civil Sup­plies Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd. (HPSCSCL) con­tributed Rs. 51 lakh towards Chief Min­is­ter Relief fund to pro­vide relief to the peo­ple of Kin­naur who suf­fered mas­sively due to the nat­ural calamity. Food & Civil Sup­plies Min­is­ter G.S. Bali pre­sented cheque to Chief Min­is­ter Virb­hadra Singh here today, on behalf of HPSCSCL.

H.P. State Civil Sup­plies Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd also con­tributed Rs. 11 lakh towards Prime Min­is­ter Relief fund for being fur­ther dis­trib­uted to the affected peo­ple of Uttrak­hand State, which bore the brunt of Nat­ural havoc result­ing in heavy loss to life and property.

Addi­tional Chief Sec­re­tary P. Mitra, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor H.P. State Civil Sup­plies Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd. Dr. Aman­deep Garg, Exec­u­tive Direc­tor, HPSCSCL and other offi­cers of Cor­po­ra­tion were present on the occasion.

H.P. State Co-operative Bank Employ­ees Union con­tributed Rs. Nine lakh twenty five thou­sand towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Pres­i­dent of union C.S. Kan­war pre­sented cheque to Chief Min­is­ter Virb­hadra Singh. Gen­eral Sec­re­tary Sohan Singh Thakur, Exec­u­tive Mem­bers Devi Kali Negi, Ramesh Chauhan, Ramesh Molta and Girish were also present on the occasion.

Senior Con­gress leader and health min­is­ter Kaul Singh Thakur also donated Rs. Fifty thou­sand towards Pres­i­dent, AICC Relief Fund, for relief and reha­bil­i­ta­tion of peo­ple of Himachal Pradesh and Uttrak­hand, who suf­fered due to flash floods in both the States. He hands over draft to Min­is­ter Virb­hadra Singh.

Kaul Singh Thakur pre­sented another Bank Draft of Rs. Fifty Thou­sand to Chief Min­is­ter Virb­hadra Singh towards CM Relief Fund as a step to pro­vide suc­cour to the peo­ple of ravaged-hit dis­trict Kinnaur.

Chief Min­is­ter thanked all dona­tors for the con­tri­bu­tion and said that the amount received towards Chief Min­is­ter Relief Fund would help in pro­vid­ing finan­cial help to the poor and needy in the hour of distress.
