HP State Admin­is­tra­tive Tri­bunal Bar Asso­ci­a­tion hails deci­sion of gov­ern­ment to revive admin­is­tra­tive tribunal

The HP State Admin­is­tra­tive Tri­bunal Bar Asso­ci­a­tion has hailed the deci­sion of gov­ern­ment to revive admin­is­tra­tive tri­bunal in the State of Himachal Pradesh.  The mem­bers of the Bar Asso­ci­a­tion were jubi­lant today after hear­ing the news of revival of admin­is­tra­tive tri­bunal.  The Bar Asso­ci­a­tion had already passed a res­o­lu­tion in this regard on 29/04/2008, a few months ear­lier to clos­ing of the admin­is­tra­tive tri­bunal appris­ing the then gov­ern­ment to strengthen the admin­is­tra­tive tri­bunal in the best inter­est of pub­lic and its employ­ees.  Var­i­ous pros and cons were brought to the notice of the then gov­ern­ment in this regard through this res­o­lu­tion and mea­sures were also sug­gested to strengthen the same.  How­ever, the then gov­ern­ment being obliv­i­ous of all these facts did not act upon those points and sim­ply chose to close the admin­is­tra­tive tri­bunal in hush hush man­ner.  How­ever, the said deci­sion led to many admin­is­tra­tive dif­fi­cul­ties which ulti­mately led the present gov­ern­ment to revive the admin­is­tra­tive tribunal.
